Mostly Great Experience with Sheer Shades

My sheer shades arrived last week and they're lovely! I was a little nervous ordering online, but the measurements were spot on and they installed pretty easily. I really appreciate that SelectBlinds offers a Fit Guarantee; it definitely made me feel more secure compared to just buying from Home Depot or Lowe's without that backup. The quality of the Premier 2" Sheer Shades is excellent, and they really transformed my living room. My only minor nitpick is that shipping took about 10 days, which was a bit longer than I'd hoped, but overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and the 27% discount I got. 😊

Great value on Faux Wood Blinds

I was looking for some Faux Wood Blinds and saw their sitewide sale. Ended up getting a good discount which made a big difference for my budget. The blinds arrived in about a week and a half, took 5 days to reach Denver after shipping. They were easy enough to install myself. For the price I paid, it was definitely worth it. I'm happy with how they look and function.

Smooth experience, quality product

I needed new Solar Shades for my patio and decided to try SelectBlinds. The ordering process was quite simple; I used their measuring guide which was helpful. I also requested free samples first, which arrived quickly and helped me pick the right color. My order took about two weeks to arrive after placing it, which felt reasonable for custom items. Installation was surprisingly easy, even for me, and the shades fit perfectly. The quality seems solid, they block the sun effectively, and the cord mechanism works smoothly. I had a quick question about tracking, and customer service responded to my email within a day. Overall, a very positive experience from start to finish.

Hey guys, thinking of ordering some cellular shades. How long does shipping usually take to, say, Miami?

P Paula Foster 2 months ago

Mine took about 2 weeks to get to Orlando, so Miami should be similar, I'd guess.

yeah, depends on what you order too. custom stuff might take a little longer but usually within 10-14 business days from my experience.

Are the faux wood blinds noticeably different from the real wood ones? Trying to decide which to get.

P Phil 2 months ago

The faux wood is heavier and has a slightly different feel, but from a distance, they look pretty similar. Good for high-humidity areas too.

I got faux wood in my bathroom and real wood everywhere else. You can tell if you're really looking close, but for the price difference and durability, faux wood is awesome. Plus, easier to clean.

Anyone used their 'Buy 3 Get 1 Free' deal recently? Does it apply to any blind type or just specific ones?

C Chris 2 months ago

It's usually sitewide, I got it on a mix of roller and roman shades last spring.

From what I remember, you just add four items to your cart and the cheapest one gets discounted automatically. Pretty sweet deal, got some wood blinds that way.

How easy are these blinds to install yourself? I'm not super handy but want to save some cash.

S Steve F. 2 months ago

Honestly, pretty easy. They send good instructions and I found some YouTube videos that helped. If you can use a drill, you're probably good.

Super straightforward. Most of them are just a couple of brackets and then clip the blind in. I did a whole house of faux wood blinds with just a screwdriver and a drill.

Are these guys legit? Like, I've seen some crazy good deals and it almost feels too good to be true. Not some drop shipper, right?

J Julia 2 months ago

Totally legit. Been around forever, always get my custom blinds from them.

Nah, they're the real deal. Had a small issue with a shade a couple years back and their customer service was actually helpful. Not some sketchy fake site.
